Banking
This is a blogpost from Stacc X. One of four companies within the Stacc ecosystem:
Stacc Core — a flexible ledger core banking system
Stacc Insight — an advisory suite for bank advisors
Stacc Flow — a banking middleware process platform
Stacc X — consultants with domain expertise in Fintech. Both for hire within your existing team or for specific projects.
What we launched last year
We’ve worked on a lot of projects this year. While many of them are still secret, we’re really excited to share what we can:
Bulder
Bulder is Norways first app-only bank. This is Sparebanken Vest’s take on the national bank market. In just under a year they were able to create a new visual identity, bank and apps for Android and iOS. A team from Stacc worked closely with the Bulder team and designed the app and user experience. (A deep dive article on this project coming soon 😉) We’ve had our hand on every detail in the app and webpage. From the smooth onboarding, the simple payment-solution and to the forward-thinking status page that lists out both recurring subscriptions as well as invoices and your incoming salary.
Aprila Bank
Aprila is a bank that offers it services from other services like accounting systems. This approach moves their products closer to their end-users — smaller businesses. Their latest service lets businesses sell outgoing invoices to Aprila and get payed immediately minus a small fee. We helped Aprila launch their savings-account solution with our themable savings-account.
Flow Manager for Nordea Finans
At the end of last year we launched Flow Manager for Nordea Finans. This is a portal that handles digital signing all communication between Nordea Finans, car dealers and car buyers. All GDPR compliant with a secure chat, file-upload and case management system. Together with Stacc Flow and Shortcut we delivered design, app, frontend and backend.
imove
imove has since our first year been one of our most exciting customers. They are changing mobility with their car- and scooter-subscription services. This year we helped them fine-tune their existing product and helped them launch KINTO Flex for Toyota and Lexus on their mobility-platform.
KINTO Flex
Together with the imove team and Bleed we launched Kinto Flex — Toyota and Lexus’ own car subscription service at the end of the year. The solution is built on imove’s white-label platform that allows 3rd parties to launch their own services.
What is Finance
What is a great year without a fun side-project? Working whitin finance we daily stumble upon new abbrevations. Solution? Make a fun small dictionary called whatis.finance. It is of course made with Sanity (😘), Gatsby and GraphQL.
New People
We started out 2019 as a team of five persons. But starting 2020 we’re now a team of 13 persons! We are by the way still actively looking for talent!
New COO
We’ve been looking for someone to run our daily operations for some time. When all of us are working on client projects and constant delivering we needed someone to run the rest of the operations. Luckily we managed to get Stine Neteland from our sister company Stacc Core. She has a vast experience from managing consultants at Evry and fintech knowhow from Sparebanken Vest as well as being a stockbroker.
New junior developer
Thomas Endresen joined us right after the summer. He graduated with a bachelor in information science from UiB and started working for clients the minute he stepped in the doors.
New designer and developer
Aleksander Nygård Tonheim joined us in December. He is a designer and developer previously working for Stacc Insight, but relocated because he wanted to work more on external projects. He is already proving to be a valuable asset.
New senior consultant
Torleif Halseth is joining our team from February 1st 2020. He is an experienced frontend-developer and has among other things had a key role in creating Sparebanken Vests component library. We’re excited to have him on our team!
Part time students
We’re also lucky to have a few students joining us part-time from january. They will get a quick introduction to fintech and how we work before they’ll help us out with some of our existing projects. Hopefully most of them will join us when they are done with their studies. The part time students are:
Guro Prestegard
Karin Rohringer
Kristoffer Marthinsen
Helene Stenstadvold
