A system where Avida will be able to create exciting products and services for the entire Nordic market, and the goal is set high - Avida want to become the industry leader in understanding and meeting customers' needs throughout the Nordic region.

“Now we have all our markets on one and the same modern platform”, says Christopher Dughieri, COO at Avida. "It gives us enormous opportunities to develop products and services in a modern technical environment. In addition, we will have a more cost-effective and scalable platform that will give us benefits as we now continue our growth journey.”

A close collaboration with the system supplier - a key to success.

Throughout the project, which started well over a year ago in Norway, Avida has worked closely with Stacc and our employees.

“We have built up a strong project team together with Stacc and established a good collaboration where we have really worked as a team together”, says Louise Bennerdt, Project Manager for Avida. "A key to success has been that we have had an open dialogue with all project participants throughout the project, regardless of whether they come from Avida or Stacc. We have also been good at learning along the way so that we have continuously become better and better the longer we have worked together.”

Dag Alvern, project manager from Stacc, also highlights the good collaboration that has characterized the project.

“Despite the pandemic, Avida and Stacc have worked very closely together, and we have found a good dividing of responsibilities based on high trust and mutual respect from both sides”, says Dag Alvern. "It has led to short decision-making processes, a real focus on solving challenges along the way and provided an increased understanding of the final solution.”

Now that the project is entering a final phase when all Finnish private customers are moved to the new platform, work is starting for Avida to get the maximum benefit from the new technical solution.

“The project has taught us at Avida to work in a completely new way when we develop products and services”, says Christopher Dughieri. "The platform is specially adapted for continuous, agile process improvements over time. Something that we are now adjusting our working method to in order to get the maximum value from the platform change.”
