Solid and Long-Term Partnership
The partnership between Stacc and Lea Bank goes back several years. Stacc has provided the core banking solution for both BRAbank and Easybank, who merged in 2020 and later changed their name to Lea Bank. Stacc's core banking solution is used in all the Nordic countries where the bank operates (Norway, Finland, and Sweden) and manages the full range of the bank's products.
In 2023, Lea Bank expanded its business to the Spanish market, with Stacc providing the underlying IT systems. This includes the core system that handles the entire lifecycle of approved loans and an automated loan application and credit assessment process tailored to the Spanish market. The solution is integrated with local loan agents and enables a fully digital solution for onboarding and granting loans to Spanish customers.
"Lea Bank has been a valuable partner for Stacc for many years. We are proud to continue our close collaboration and look forward to supporting the bank's further development with innovative and scalable solutions as they move their headquarters to Gothenburg, Sweden."
Geir Nordrik, CEO of Stacc
Plans for Further Growth
Lea Bank's growth plans include further automating loan application processes for customers in the Nordics and upgrading core banking systems in all Nordic markets. As part of this strategy, the bank's self-developed case management system will be replaced by Stacc's platform for credit processes, "Stacc Flow." This will give Lea Bank greater flexibility to adapt its business processes to meet customer needs and market trends while ensuring scalable and cost-effective IT systems that provide the foundation for continued growth.
"Lea Bank's ambition is to offer user-friendly solutions for our customers while also operating the most cost-effective business in our segment of the banking sector. This vision remains firm as we move our headquarters to Gothenburg. Modern, cost-effective, and flexible IT solutions are central to these ambitions, and we are continuing our successful long-term collaboration with Stacc as we modernise our technical platform in the Nordics, following the same model as our Spanish operations."
